Currently in development, ‘Raising of a Giant” is a groundbreaking International TV Series on the life and times of H.E President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and his role in transforming Zimbabwe’s economy post the removal of Robert Mugabe in 2017. This is a story of hope, African identity and the resilience of Zimbabweans in the face of adversity and economic turmoil. It’s a story of rebirth that shapes the future of an African nation set against the backdrop of Zimbabwe's tumultuous history.
The Series is Produced by Black Lips Film Production. Created by Cape Town based Zimbabwean writer Sibusisiwe Mzinja, the project is produced by well known South African based Zimbabwean Producer Leo Chikapa-Phiri. Zimbabwean music mega star, Jah Prayzah will lead Music Direction for the Series with representation from Keen Mushapaidze at JP Entertainment.
